Virtual Conference
AHAC 2020
AHAC 2020 will be held as a virtual conference this year and will be held on September 19th, 2020. We will have several presentations that will be based on papers, posters and other discussions. The conference will be provided for free but we will have a registration posted soon so we know how many people to expect. We are asking that authors and presenters be current members of the SBA. Please note that we have deadlines for papers or for those that wish to present down below.
As we get closer to the conference we will be posting additional information here, so please check back often.
Papers
For AHAC 2020 we are suspending the “no paper, no podium” rule. Authors may elect to simply present on a topic, present a poster, or may submit a full paper for review. Full papers will be included in the conference proceedings and may also be considered for the Journal of High Altitude Ballooning. All presentations, papers and posters are required to submit an abstract by the September 1st, deadline. All presenters must be a member of the SBA.
Conference
Due to COVID-19, the conference will be held as a virtual conference. Additional information on the conference will be posted here soon. We are expecting that we will be able to deliver the conference this year at a greatly reduced or for free. The conference will be a one day event. A short workshop will be held the previous day.

Workshop
A short virtual workshop will be held that will discuss using Adafruit’s Feather boards and the LoRa radios in High Altitude Ballooning.
